” We regularly use ely bar & brasserie for client and staff entertainment…… anything from 2-60 people, and we always find the level of service equally as professional and welcoming regardless of the size of the party. The food is upmarket bistro style, excellent quality and always sourced locally where possible. The menu is varied and adequate without being overwhelming in choice. A life time wouldn’t be enough to allow you to sample the extensive range of wines in their vaulted cellars. And if wine is not your thing they have a great selection of craft bears, spirits, not to mention cocktails. Great food, wine and service is undoubtedly their key to success and we wish them all the very best for the future.”

“It has been 6 months since our wedding and I still can’t believe that I haven’t managed to email you properly to thank you for everything you and your team at Ely did to make our wedding reception so fantastic. We weren’t sure at first how 140 people would work but you assured us that it would and you were right! The atmosphere having our dinner downstairs in the alcoves brought to the meal was fantastic and we have heard nothing but rave reviews about the meal choices, food quality and the wine. The table numbers, place names, kids activities and candles were all organised as we asked despite us only dropping them into you the day beforehand! The DJ setting up in the alcove near the bar gave exactly the party feel we were after for the dance floor while still allowing people to talk and mingle in the (quieter!) alcove beside it. To sum it up, we could not be happier that we chose Ely for our wedding reception! Thank you again for everything.”
