An EPIC weekend ahead at ELY BAR & GRILL, IFSC

The October Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching and is shaping up to be a welcome break with the schools on midterm and an extra hour in our weekend!

As usual there are lots of events taking place across the city and we thought we’d share some of our favourites!

Culture on the Menu

We have some culture on the menu for families visiting EPIC this weekend.
Children under 8 can eat for free at ELY BAR&GRILL, IFSC
this Sunday the 29th and Monday the 30th of October with two paying adults
on presentation of their EPIC Passport.

EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum is an interactive experience located just on our doorstep in Dublin’s Docklands. It will inspire and guide you on a journey to discover the stories of Irish emigration around the world, from early times to the modern day.
The combination of a visit to EPIC followed by brunch or dinner at ELY makes for a
really special bank holiday family day out.

If you do pop in don’t forget to try our Pumpkin Spice Latte, on the menu just for the weekend!

SSE Airtrictity Dublin Marathon

The 38th Dublin Marathon will take place on Sunday the 29th of October with runners
taking part for all over the world.
Known as ‘The Friendly Marathon’ there are a record number of entries this year giving us all a great excuse to get out and about along the route to support those taking part.

Our newly refurbished Atrium Bar at ELY BAR & GRILL IFSC
will be open on Sunday serving Brunch from 12noon and our pre-theatre dinner menu from 5pm which might be handy if you’re heading to Hall and Oates at the 3Arena.

If you would like to make a reservation you can do so here.

One of the highlights of the weekend has to be the Bram Stoker Festival 2017.

Whether you’re a resident vampire or visiting from further afield the festival has something for everyone in its Gothically inspired programme of events. Our favourite event in the programme must be the Macnas Parade which will take place on Monday the 30th of October at 6pm.
From its starting point at Moore Street, the parade will amble down Mary Street and make its way to the finishing point at Marys Lane.
This is a free family event so we recommend arriving early to get the best viewing spot.

Aside from all of the above excitement we are serving up Killer Steaks on the menu in both ely wine bar and ELY BAR & GRILL over the weekend.
This accompanied by our award winning wine list is a great reason to treat yourself this bank holiday weekend.

WHY NOT BOOK NOW?

Have a great long weekend and Happy Halloween from all the ely team!
