Absolutely fantastic evening

Having stumbled across this restaurant online by accident, I made a booking for my partner's birthday.
Upon arrival we were greeted by highly attentive staff and were shown to our table. The design of the restaurant was well thought out and the atmosphere lively, yet enabled us to have conversations without being overheard.
The menu is fantastic. Enough choice and I had genuine trouble choosing what to eat as there were so many tantalising dishes.
I opted for the spinach and ricotta ravioli followed by the red deer - both cooked to perfection with flawless taste.
The wine list is extensive and we chose a marvellous bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Martinborough. On top of the perfect meal and setting, it was my partner's birthday. Having told the restaurant when I booked and dropped a subtle hint when choosing dessert, the staff not only sang happy birthday but brought out an extra ice cream dish complete with piped icing with his name on it.
All in all a perfect evening.
