Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Tasting

This St.Patrick’s weekend we will be hosting a ‘Single Pot Still Whiskey’ tasting with Peter Dunne of Mitchell and Son.

Peter has selected
 Green Spot Single Pot Still
Yellow Spot 12-year-old
Green Spot Chateau Leoville-Barton
 Green Spot Chateau Montelena

The evening will entail a guided tasting of four multi award winning whiskeys in ELY BAR & GRILL, a 200 year-old tobacco and wine warehouse, in the heart of Dublin’s docklands.
Each whiskey will be accompanied by one of our delicious canapes.

Green Spot & Yellow Spot, the quintessential style of Irish whiskey, were created by the Mitchell family in the 1800s. Originally dealing exclusively in wines, the Mitchell family combined their passion for wine with whiskey and began to age whiskey in wine caskets. Resulting in whiskeys known for their full, complex and creamy flavours.
Today they use barrels from the famous vineyards of Chateau Leoville-Barton in Bordeaux and Chateaux Montelena in the Napa Valley.

This tasting on the 16th of March promises to be a great evening, ideal for family and friends visiting for St.Patrick’s Day
