Taste of Dublin 2017

Taste of Dublin returns to the beautiful setting of Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens from the 15th to the 18^th of June 2017. During the four day event a selection of the city’s restaurants will showcase signature dishes illustrating all that is great and unique about each participating eatery.

This year ely wine bar and ely bar and brasserie will feature as the Open Table Restaurant Special of the Day on Saturday the 17^th of June. To celebrate our participation we are offering Tattinger at the very special price of €60 per bottle on this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at ely wine bar, ely place.

We are proud to be world famous for our selection of wines and to match these wines ely hold a true passion for seasonality and food provenance where our menus are concerned. This has been the case since our opening in 1999.

We source all of our organic beef and pork direct from the family farm in the Burren, Co. Clare and the lamb is from a neighbouring farm. . Executive Chef Ryan Stringer, along with his kitchen team, work very hard to source local seasonal fruits and vegetables. (They also make especially good gluten free deserts).

For #Taste17 we have created three signature dishes that reflect the ely commitment to organic, fresh and local produce and that show what our restaurants do best.

Flavours of the world from Dublin’s finest restaurants paired with an opportunity to sample the offerings of local artisan food and drink producers all in one stunning setting. In addition Met Eireann have forecast a heatwave from Wednesday so there really is no reason not to visit #Taste17.
