“We managed to slip away from work at a reasonable time for a change and made our way to ely bar and brasserie at the CHQ in Dublin for an evening of Pinot Noir from around the world (€45 per person).
Hosted by Ian Brosnan, the wine manager for the 3 Ely’s restaurants in Dublin, we knew we would be in good hands. We took our place at the table in front of six wine glasses. Hmm…one of these doesn’t quite look like the others. It turns out that Bollinger champagne is made from Pinot Noir and was a fitting start to the tasting.” Read more here.
