Taking place from the 7th to the 11th August, the Dublin Horse Show is one of Ireland’s biggest events. This five-day event attracts tens of thousands of visitors from all over Ireland and the world. 2019 marks the 146th year of the Dublin Horse Show and the 100th anniversary of women first competing at the Show on horseback. Bord Gáis Energy Theatre

Take a trip back to the electric 80s and embark on a summer of love and smash-hit classics with Club Tropicana. Showing now until Saturday 3rd August.

The international, award-winning smash hit musical based on the blockbuster film, The Bodyguard is coming back to Dublin from 7 August to 17 August.

Sit back and enjoy the story of Kinky Boots, as this musical takes you from the factory floor of Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Showing from 19 August to 31 August.

Abbey Theatre

Following a smash-hit run in 2018, The Unmanageable Sisters has returned to the Abbey Theatre this summer. Better hurry though, it’s only showing until 3rd August 2019.

The hilarious and provocative Two Pints, which started as a conversation on Facebook, is now showing as a play at the Abbey Theatre until 10th August.

Young Curators, a unique training ground for passionate and talented 18 to 25-year-olds, have programmed a two-week festival and will be on show at the Abbey Theatre until the 10th August.

 

Gaiety Theatre

Riverdance, an electrifying and innovative seven-minute dance, which has been developed into a full-length stage show, is now showing at the Gaiety Theatre for the whole month of August, until 15th September.
