Georgina Campbell’s Wine Award of the Year 2017
One of the most prestigious awards in Ireland, we are delighted to have won the Wine Award of the Year 2017!
Georgina Campbell and her experienced team have been searching the country ‘seeking out the best food and hospitality experiences’ in Ireland and the hard work of the ely team has paid off.
With both ely wine bar and ely bar and brasserie being awarded the honour of Wine Award of the Year 2017 we really know we are doing our jobs right.
This award recognises the long term excellence that ely has provided its customers, from 1999 to the current day. Georgina described ely as ‘magnificent’ praising not only the holistic approach to our wine but also our food.

“from the start, provenance, seasonality and sustainability of food – much of which has always come from the family’s organic West of Ireland farm – was equal to that of the wines that they so lovingly curate, along with other drinks worthy of taking a place on their lists.
